This spring, the Beartooth Humane Alliance will be opening an adoption center at the office of Silver Run Vet in Red Lodge (18 N. Broadway). The Adoption Center will better enable BHA to feature adult cats and kittens awaiting a new home and increase the opportunities for a quicker adoption. The adoption center will have its grand opening on Saturday, April 12 from 10am to 12pm. Interested people can talk to Animal Care Director Cara Kisthard and trained volunteers to learn more about each cat or kitten, interact with the felines, and complete an adoption application.
Cara says, “More adoptions means BHA can help even more homeless kitties! We are so grateful to Dr. Jane Nibler and Silver Run Vet for offering us this opportunity to promote our adoptables in their large storefront window. This is an ideal location where many local people and people visiting can easily see and meet these great pets.”
The Adoption Center will be open regularly each Saturday from 10am – 12pm beginning in May whenever there are cats and kittens in need of a new home. Days and hours of operation will be posted at the Adoption Center. For further information call Beartooth Humane Alliance at 446-3500.
Silver Run Vet was just voted “Most pet-friendly business” in the 2014 Best of Red Lodge.
